Things to get involved in...

We recognise that there are various stages of studentdom, from starting out being a fresher through to ending up as a finalist & beyond, with the possibility of a sandwich year along the way.
 
Each stage in the journey throws up it’s own unique issues. This page pulls together a number of things that Open Heaven offers for you to get involved in to help you along the way. Specific courses, cell & individual materials are available throughout your time in Loughborough. Look out for them through the year, or follow the links for more details
  • Welcome meals - Getting oriented in Open Heaven and making the most of your first year.
       
  • Foundation Course - An introduction to the basics of faith, or just a refresher.
      
  • Network -  Identifying your God given gifts, and where and how they can be used and developed   

  • Discipleship - We encourage everyone to be being discipled and discipling others, and provide resources to help.
      
  • Mentoring Groups - We have set up a number of groups as places to learn from each other and those more experienced
        
  • School of Leaders - Monthly training for those who are serving as cell leaders, team leaders and asscoiates.
      
  • Summer Missions - Experience serving God as part of a team in a different culture.
      
  • Finalist's Meal & Finalist's Audit - Equipping those about to graduate for life beyond University
      
  • DNA - Spend a year 'in' getting developed either in Loughborough or somewhere else

And of course...

  • Clusters - We’re still having cell groups but these will be divided into clusters; groups of cell groups with a specific mission focus.
