Alpha is a safe place to thrash out the meaning of life; to discuss what Christianity really is all about. It’s about finding out about God but also about you. Your ideas, your opinions and to discover where you stand.

The Alpha Weekend Away is an opportunity for the whole course to go away for a short weekend together, to build friendships, have some fun and hear from a great speaker on the subject of the Holy Spirit.

The weekend away is undoubtedly an integral part of the Alpha course and almost everyone who has been on the Alpha weekend has said it was the best part of the course.

We do ask for a contribution towards the costs but the price doesn’t reflect the quality of the weekend as it is well subsidised by Alpha and Open Heaven. Please don’t feel you can’t come if you are lacking funds, and if you have any questions just chat to a member of the team. We will make travel arrangements nearer the time but just for your diaries: we will probably leave on Friday around 18:00 and arrive back in Loughborough on Sunday at around 15:00.
