OVERFLOW:
Mission:
To Overflow with passion for justice for the oppressed as a result of encountering God’s love. "the
Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to
do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."
Vision:
To
engage and help others from our community to engage in justice issues
on all levels. From our own hearts, through local and national politics
to international issues. (affiliated loosely to Speak). To
further God’s kingdom through acts of reconciliation, friendship,
partnership and affirmation as well as acts of protest and campaigning
on behalf of the oppressed, poor and suffering.
Values:
Making friends and partners for justice, not enemies.
God’s
unconditional love for all, expressed through Jesus’ life and teaching
compels us to wish the best for all concerned in any issue we tackle.
If we do gain enemies, we will pray for them.
