We recognise that leaving uni is a key time in terms of moving on well in your faith once some of the structure and community from uni is no longer as there. It can be a make or break time when people decide to really go for it in their faith, or swerve to having a bit of a passive faith, or even more devastating losing their faith all together.
It is also a time of real change and people are dealing with lots of new challenges for the first time. For example, handling ‘your own’ money, decision making, not being good at stuff, working for an organisation that exists to benefit itself not them as individuals (as opposed to uni were everything is set up for your fulfilment), your time not being your own….to list but a few.
But we believe that inspired people in the workplace can make a huge difference in the lives of others and for Gods Kingdom. This happens through the work they do, how they relate to other people and the decisions they make, changing workplace culture and bringing God’s grace and justice.
We’re passionate about helping people develop an intimacy with God during this life stage that sustains them and grows them into who God has called us to be.
The Recent Grads brunch is for anyone who has graduated in the last 3 years.
