Using various film portrayals of Jesus to challenge and enrich our understanding of Jesus and his life, as well as exploring what these cinematic versions tell us about how our society view him.

Session Two

Finding our Jesus in Film.

This week will be look at the history of the portrayals of Jesus in film and the early tendency we have to try and find a film Jesus that matches with our own mental image. We'll then look at the strengths and weaknesses of that approach.
