The Encounter weekend
2nd – 4th May 08
The Encounter weekend is a weekend to change your life. It's 48 hours away with the sole purpose of encountering God and experiencing his power in our lives. It’s a journey back to the foundational truths of our faith; the cross and the power of God to save and heal us. Encounter is about being honest with ourselves and with God and letting him come into the areas of our lives that are hold us back and rob us of living in freedom. It’s for anyone who wants to be touched afresh by God – whatever the reason.
We’ll be going down in cars so if you’re able to drive that would be great – (We’ll cover your petrol). A pre-Encounter evening is an essential part of the Encounter experience. There are two pre-Encounter sessions: Sunday 20th April, 7.30 and Monday 28th April, 7.30. Please indicate which one you will be able to attend. There is also a post-Encounter evening on 12th May.
When – Bank Holiday weekend 2nd -4th May (leave 6pm Friday, back by 6pm on the Sunday)
Where – The Quinta Centre, Shropshire
Cost - £45 Students and unwaged, and £55 for community.
Commitment – We also ask everyone to go to a pre-Encounter session and the post-Encounter session.
