France Church Plant

We have always known our future must involve church planting and fulfilling our part of the Great Commission. Europe is the only continent on earth where the gospel is not advancing and a whole generation are without vibrant expressions of church and so it fits to turn our attention there.

Back in 2007, Ness and Pete McKnight first shared publicly about sending a team to France, at which point Mel Page shared a dream where she had seen Ness commissioning a team to France to find the treasure in that nation (having known nothing of our plans).Since then Pete and Miri have been preparing to make the move along with a team from Open Heaven. We are looking to send a team of around 8 people with a mix of gifts and strengths.

Then last year, the team decided on a location - Annecy, town near the Swiss border.

Whilst the team is starting to build momentum now, this will be a whole church adventure, across both expressions, with everyone being a supporter, a sender or a go-er.

Meanwhile, lets seek God for his heart for France as we begin to look over the channel in prayer and preparation. We're going to be making a "prayer wall for Annecy" to take to both gatherings over the next 10 months, and there will be a virtual prayer wall set up on Facebook.
