Every year the Churches together in Loughborough pool resources to provide a series of talks for lent, focusing on various aspects of Christian life.
Courses are offered on five consecutive Wednesdays, beginning 16th Feb with courses A&B taking place in the mornings from 10:30 'til 12noon at the and courses C-F being in the evenings from 7:30-9:15. All courses are at the Baptist Church, Baxter Gate. Additional courses [G&H] are being run at the United Reformed Church, Frederick Street on Mondays and Fridays during Lent.

These are the courses available for 2005:
Course A : Listening to the Teacher: Devotional readings in the five blocks of teaching in Matthew’s Gospel – set in their context of Church and Mission:
The Law of the Kingdom – chs 5-7: Ambassadors of the Kingdom – ch 10
Parables of the Kingdom – ch 13 : Relationships in the Kingdom – ch 18
The coming of the Kingdom – chs 24-25 Leader: Michael King
Course B : Better Together?: A discussion course using input from audio tapes from York Minster featuring the Abbot of Ampleforth, Nicky Gumbrel, John Bell, Jane Williams & Dr David Hope. The topics include, Family Relationships , Church Relationships, Relating to Strangers, Broken Relationships, Our Relationship with God
