Union bog came out from a desire to raise both awareness and money for a programme that CORD run in Burundi called Toilet Twinning whilst continuing the outward focus of the Open Heaven Society (OH Soc); loving students on campus.[15-11-09] Sloshout
Sloshout is basically a spirit lead prayer and worship event put on by the Open Heaven Society.[08-11-09] Stacey got baptised!

If you have heard of or been on an Open Heaven Encounter weekend, then the Encounter Day 09 is its little brother.[29-10-09] Reflecting on a week of 24-7 prayer
It seems a bit premature to start reflecting on all that happened during the 24-7 week, sensing that the prayers prayed, hearts changed, people softened and breakthroughs encountered in that place, are not over.
The Encounter Weekend
1st -3rd May 09
The Encounter Weekend is about encountering God and experiencing his power in our lives. We’ve spent some time reworking Encounter this year so it will be quite different to previous years.
Encounter is a journey back to the foundational truths of our faith, the cross and the power of God to bring forgiveness and freedom to us.
Encounter is about being honest with ourselves and with God and letting him come into the areas of our lives that hold us back and rob us of living in freedom. It’s for anyone who wants to be touched afresh by God – whatever the reason.
The pre-Encounter evening is an essential part of the Encounter experience. This will be on the Wednesday 29th April at 7.30 at 64 Beacon Road.
When – We ask people to leave Loughborough at 6pm on the Friday 1st and we’ll get back to Loughborough at about 6pm on the Sunday. 3rd. It is the bank holiday weekend so you get a nice day off on the Monday!!
Where – The Quinta Centre, Shropshire (map and directions)
Cost - £45 students and unwaged, and £55 for everyone else.
