Connections : Local

Open Heaven is working in partnership with the other local congregations in Loughborough. In fact we see ourselves first and foremost as part of the Church of Loughborough. We are simply one expression of the town-wide church, with a specific role to reach students and graduates in the town. A number of leaders are meeting together exploring town-wide leadership and have written this vision statement:

'There is one church of Loughborough
with multiple congregations,
centred on Christ,
to transform our community.'
 
There are many fantastic congregations within the Church of Loughborough and we are increasingly finding ways of praying and working together as one. For example, we have monthly town-wide prayer events and ways of serving the community together (e.g. 'The Noise'). We are also part of Churches Together in Loughborough.
