Student Equipping Track
We recognise that there are various stages of studentdom, from starting out being a fresher through to ending up as a finalist & beyond, with the possibility of a sandwich year along the way. We have pulled together our experience of serving students over the past 10 years or so to create the Open Heaven Student Equipping Track. Each stage in the journey throws up it’s own unique issues, so in response to this have identified key training & input for specific times in your degree. Specific courses, cell & individual materials are available throughout your time in Loughborough. Look out for them through the year, or follow the links for more details
- Welcome meals - Getting oriented in Open Heaven and making the most of your first year.
- Foundation Course - An introduction to the basics of faith, or just a refresher.
- Network - Identifying your God given gifts, and where and how they can be used and developed
- Fusion National Weekend - Students from all over the country gathering to talk about student mission in the 21st century.
- Discipleship - We encourage everyone to be being discipled and discipling others, and provide resources to help.
- Mentoring Groups - We have set up a number of groups as places to learn from each other and those more experienced
- School of Leaders - Monthly training for those who are serving as cell leaders, team leaders and asscoiates.
- Summer Missions - Experience serving God as part of a team in a different culture.
- Finalist's Meal & Finalist's Audit - Equipping those about to graduate for life beyond University
- DNA - Spend a year 'in' getting developed either in Loughborough or somewhere else
