Trips for 2008
A number of Open Heaveners are already thinking about giving some of their holid
ay time to God and heading off on focused mission trips. Others are considering tithing their holidays. This page will be used to share details about who is going where and what opportunities there are for people to join a team. So keep checking this space...
Equally we would love to hear about any mission trips you are planning independantly so that we might be able to support you in prayer and help in any other way we can.

Get a Vision...
We really encourage you to start considering if you should go on a short term mission trip. There are many opportunities of varying lengths and location.
- Ask God to speak to you about different countries or projects.
- Find out about potential trips this year being run through Open Heaven:
- Albania - China
- France - Thailand
- Spain/Europe - Loughborough
- Morocco - Estonia
- If you are you interested in going on mission but have a heart for a country or type of work that is not included in the trips listed above then how about linking with a mission organisation and joining one of their teams. If you would like help looking for a good trip or are looking for links into a country/area, get in touch and I will see what I can do to help.
Get Prepared...
Pray, pray and keep praying! - Start planning your finances and thinking of different ways of raising the money.
- Find out more about where you are going; read books look up facts on the Web; ask others who have been etc..
Think about doing the Kairos course during this year. This is highly recommended for anyone who is thinking about going overseas. Find out more.
