Student Alpha

The next Alpha course Launches on the 11th February at 6:30pm, with a pub style quiz in the Lava Bar in Loughborough Students Union.
Alpha is a safe place to thrash out the meaning of life; to discuss what Christianity really is all about. It’s about finding out about God but also about you. Your ideas, your opinions and to discover where you stand.
We hope that you will feel relaxed enough to be able to discuss those issues that play on all of our minds from time to time, however controversial! At Loughborough Uni the Alpha course is run in such a way as to be relevant to students, and so is run by students with the support of local Church.
Each Tuesday of Semester 2 we will meet at 6:30pm at Elim church (see map), enjoy a meal together (free of charge woohoo!) & listen to a short talk, finishing with informal questions and discussions in small groups. We will be finished each week at 9pm - so plenty of time to go the pub or finish off the dreaded coursework afterwards!
