World: People's Stories

Here are a few stories of people from the OH community who are making a difference to people's lives in the world.

Si Surge – Simon Surgenor moved to Madrid from open Heaven in 2004 and has a heart to love the city and impact lives, especially the student population.

Gav – Gav moved to south China in 2003.  He is working part-time for a holiday company and in his spare time he goes out into the nearby mountains to share Jesus with the locals

Sarah Crouch - Sarah is 'loving the world' by being pen pals with two inmates from death row, making a difference to some of the most reviled people in the world. You can read more about wha Sarah does and why she does it here.

Paul McKnight – Paul is working with Samaritans purse in Cambodia.  He’s been involved in two projects so far. As an advisor to a national team for the Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) project focussing on slums and internally displaced people camps. And the Church Mobilisation Project for HIV/AIDS.  It's exciting to see Samaritan's Purse working to equip and mobilise the churches there to target communities and respond to the needs found.
