Sunday Gatherings

In our busy lives meeting together is a priority. Here’s why we do it:

We believe in the gathered church. We gather in Christ’s name because he promises to be there. We gather because deep down we know it pleases God. We gather for God to offer ourselves again. When we are together we sacrifice our time, energy, finance and emotion to Him – it is no less than he deserves.

There are 4 reasons to gather together. As we come together on a Sunday we…

Look Up. Corporate acts of thanks and worship please and glorify God, so we do it!

Look around. We need to know the body we are a part of, in order to effectively build it up. We are there to contribute and not consume. When we are together we can hear and respond to overall vision and direction of the community.

Look In. A gathering provides an intentionally set aside time to be challenged, healed and changed through scripture unpacked, worship and the rest of the body.

Look out. An environment is created where those who do not know God can encounter Him through worship and community.

Because we want to be as radical and relevant as possible, we try and vary how we do our gatherings, sometimes using one or more speaker, sometimes going into zones, using a variety of different bands, and worship styles, as well as using more alternative styles of worship such as meditation.
